Senior Product Engineer (Darkplane, Agentic Platform)

As a Senior Product Engineer, you’ll help shape an emerging platform designed around the future of AI-assisted software development.
You’ll work at the intersection of agentic engineering, developer experience, backend systems, and application runtimes.
Your work will span platform engineering, product development, and the practical challenges of making AI-generated code reliable and safe to ship.
You’ll build scalable infrastructure for ingest pipelines, evaluation runtimes, data models, and code execution environments.
At the same time, you’ll engage directly with customers and help determine which product experiences, workflows, and safeguards matter most.
You’ll collaborate closely with AI engineers to make agentic workflows predictable, performant, and production-ready.
This is a high-autonomy role in a fast-moving, remote-first engineering environment where your technical and product decisions can have immediate impact.

• Significant professional experience building and owning software products end to end, including frontend development.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js, along with Go or the ability to become productive in Go quickly using modern coding agents.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and the engineering practices required to operate reliable production services.
• Strong data-modeling skills across relational databases such as PostgreSQL and analytical databases such as ClickHouse or comparable technologies.
• Experience building or operating agentic AI systems, LLM pipelines, code execution environments, or sandboxed runtimes.
• Strong product instincts and the ability to make decisions based on customer needs, business context, and technical considerations rather than simply executing a predefined backlog.
• Genuine curiosity about how engineering teams work and how organizations are adopting AI-assisted and agentic software development.
• Fluency with AI and agentic coding tools, combined with sound judgement around when to rely on them and when human engineering oversight is required.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive habit of documenting decisions, sharing context, and working independently.
• Familiarity with observability tooling or the OpenTelemetry ecosystem is a plus.
• Experience building analytical, experimentation, or evaluation platforms is advantageous.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers or supporting the professional development of teammates is a plus.
