This is a senior contract opportunity focused on delivering complex SaaS implementations for clients across the wealth management and capital markets sectors.
You will lead projects through planning, testing, migration, go-live, and production readiness, ensuring milestones are delivered with strong governance and control.
The role combines project leadership, client engagement, data analysis, implementation management, and team coordination.
You will work closely with clients and multidisciplinary internal teams to manage risks, dependencies, testing, conversions, integrations, and change requests.
Your expertise will help clients transition efficiently to new corporate actions and tax reporting solutions while maintaining accuracy and operational readiness.
The position offers significant client exposure and requires a proactive leader who can manage multiple workstreams in a complex financial-services environment.
The role is remote in Canada, with an hourly contract rate of $110–$130/hour.

Lead the planning, governance, and execution of SaaS implementation projects across all major phases of the project lifecycle.
Define testing strategies and work with clients to plan, track, report, and accelerate user acceptance testing and other testing activities.
Maintain accurate testing data, issue tracking, triage, and reporting while distinguishing between product defects and requested changes.
Plan and coordinate internal and client training, including training materials, delivery plans, product demonstrations, and hands-on sessions.
Manage project change control by raising change requests, completing impact analysis, and ensuring appropriate governance.
Identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and potential delivery challenges, establishing mitigation plans and escalating matters appropriately.
Work with clients to define upstream and downstream data integration mappings, configuration requirements, and related implementation activities.
Define migration and conversion strategies, develop runbooks, and manage mock conversions through final go-live.
Coordinate conversion reporting, issue tracking, and remediation to ensure readiness for subsequent mock runs and production deployment.
Manage implementation resources on a day-to-day basis, including task allocation, coordination, and matrix or direct team leadership.
Oversee environment setup, integration points, monitoring frameworks, controls, and release management activities.
Communicate release content, schedules, dependencies, and impacts to clients and internal stakeholders.
Manage production-readiness checklists and collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to ensure implementations are timely, robust, and secure.
Lead reconciliation and production-comparison activities, using available data-control tools to compare legacy outputs with solution results and improve match rates.
Provide clear internal and external reporting, escalate issues, and represent the implementation in steering committees and working groups.
Support clients during critical implementation milestones, including mock conversions and go-live weekends.

Requirements

10+ years of experience as an implementation or conversion consultant/manager delivering SaaS projects for wealth management, capital markets, or related financial-services organizations.
At least 7 years of project management experience, including responsibility for complex implementation programs.
At least 5 years of team leadership experience, including managing or coordinating teams of up to five resources.
Demonstrated critical thinking and a proactive approach to identifying challenges and driving issues toward successful resolution.
Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle, implementation governance, controls, risk management, and delivery methodologies.
Proven ability to define control processes and transform project data into clear, concise reporting for senior management and clients.
Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships while confidently communicating and defending project requirements and positions.
Experience managing large-scale projects with multiple concurrent workstreams, dependencies, and stakeholders.
Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with JIRA.
Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accurate reporting and documentation.
Strong analytical capabilities, including experience working with SQL and Excel.
Ability to understand complex technical and business details and challenge assumptions when appropriate.
Strong communication, organization, prioritization, and stakeholder-management skills.
Experience with asset servicing platforms in wealth management, investment banking, or another financial-services environment is desirable.
Knowledge of asset servicing processes, including dividends, coupons, taxation, mandatory and elective corporate actions, event capture, data quality, position and transaction types, entitlement processing, trade generation, and ledger impacts is advantageous.
Understanding of integrations with major U.S. market participants and financial infrastructure providers is a plus.
Product knowledge across equities and fixed income is beneficial.
Experience with relevant corporate actions, tax reporting, reconciliation, or financial-services technology platforms is an advantage.
Previous experience with Data Control or similar reconciliation solutions is desirable.
