As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Node.js and Vue.js, you will design and deliver complex enterprise applications while helping integrate AI into modern software engineering practices. You will contribute across the full stack, combining backend architecture, front-end development, cloud deployment, and distributed systems expertise. The role places a strong emphasis on AI-enabled engineering, including integrating intelligent capabilities into applications and using AI tools to improve development velocity. You will participate in architectural decisions, mentor other engineers, and collaborate closely with product, data, and AI teams. Your work will help deliver secure, scalable, performant, and maintainable enterprise solutions. Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern architectural patterns.
Build intuitive, responsive, and performant front-end experiences using Vue.js, including Vue 3, Composition API, and state management solutions such as Pinia or Vuex.
Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architecture and system-level decisions.
Integrate AI and machine learning capabilities into enterprise applications, including embeddings, LLM-powered functionality, intelligent automation, vector search, and model inference.
Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, documentation, refactoring, and other engineering activities.
Develop and maintain scalable microservices and API architectures using technologies such as Express or NestJS.
Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices across development teams.
Collaborate with product, data, and AI teams to deliver end-to-end technical solutions.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, observability, system performance, and operational reliability.
Help ensure security, scalability, maintainability, and performance across the full application stack.
Contribute to modern DevOps practices and continuous improvement of engineering workflows.

Requirements

7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Advanced proficiency with Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Strong experience developing backend microservices and API architectures, including frameworks such as Express or NestJS.
Strong hands-on experience with Vue.js, particularly Vue 3, Composition API, state management, and modern front-end build tools.
Experience integrating AI/ML services or developing AI-enhanced application features, including LLMs, vector search, embeddings, or model inference.
Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalable application architecture.
Strong API design experience, including REST and/or GraphQL.
Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and CI/CD workflows.
Experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases.
Strong problem-solving and technical communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with product, data, AI, and engineering teams.
Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to engineering standards and best practices.
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and able to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
