The Sr. Systems Administrator will play a key role in managing, securing, and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments. This position combines hands-on systems administration, cloud engineering, automation, and technical project leadership to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing IT services. You will work with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, and emerging AI technologies to enhance infrastructure capabilities and operational efficiency. Collaborating with global teams, business stakeholders, and technology partners, you will lead infrastructure initiatives from design and implementation through ongoing support. You will also contribute to cybersecurity, disaster recovery, system monitoring, and continuous improvement efforts. Administer, maintain, and support enterprise IT infrastructure across AWS, Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, and related technologies.

Design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable, highly available cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions.

Develop and implement automation strategies to streamline IT operations, improve service reliability, and increase operational efficiency.

Lead infrastructure and technology projects throughout their lifecycle, from planning and architecture through deployment, documentation, and ongoing support.

Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and overall health, proactively identifying issues and implementing improvements.

Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices, including identity and access management, system hardening, patch management, monitoring, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery planning.

Evaluate, implement, and support enterprise AI technologies and AI-enabled solutions that enhance business processes and IT service delivery.

Act as a technical escalation point for complex infrastructure, cloud, and systems administration issues, providing timely troubleshooting and resolution.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, infrastructure standards, operational procedures, and support guidelines.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, end users, vendors, and cross-functional technical teams to deliver effective technology solutions and high-quality customer service.

Support incident response, business continuity, and recovery activities to maintain operational resilience.

Participate in on-call rotations and provide incident support as required.

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, assess emerging technologies, and contribute to strategic IT initiatives.
Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.

Professional experience: 5–10 years of experience in systems administration, cloud infrastructure, enterprise IT operations, or a related technical role.

Cloud infrastructure: Strong hands-on experience administering and supporting Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Microsoft Azure environments.

Systems administration: Solid expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, enterprise infrastructure management, and general IT automation.

Infrastructure engineering: Demonstrated experience designing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting secure and reliable infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments.

AI technologies: Experience implementing or supporting enterprise AI technologies and AI-enabled solutions.

Technical project leadership: Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional technology projects from initiation to completion while meeting business objectives, delivery timelines, and operational requirements.

Cybersecurity and resilience: Strong understanding of security principles, system hardening, identity management, patching, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

Troubleshooting and analytical skills: Ability to diagnose, investigate, and resolve complex infrastructure issues while proactively identifying potential risks and performance bottlenecks.

Documentation and operational standards: Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, infrastructure standards, and operational procedures.

Communication and collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred certifications: Industry-recognized certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or equivalent cloud and infrastructure credentials.

Nice to have: Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication, LogicMonitor, or similar backup, monitoring, and infrastructure management solutions.
