About the Role
~1 min readA warm, loving family in San Francisco is joyfully preparing to welcome a new baby in early December. They're seeking an experienced and trained Newborn Care Specialist to support them for the first several months. This will be a true team effort. Mom plans to be very hands-on, and the NCS will work closely with the parents and the family's new day Nanny, passing the torch smoothly between shifts. The right person knows how to gracefully support eager parents from the background and when to step in and take the lead, especially during overnights. The family communicates with kindness and directness and sees feedback as something that brings the team together and keeps the home running smoothly. Experience in fully staffed homes is a plus, as is helping families establish routines, eventual sleep schedule, and feeding support, and preparing the nursery ahead of baby's arrival.
- Targeting a contract ideally between 5–6 months starting December 1 (or earlier for the right candidate); a shorter contracted time may be considered for the right candidate

- Travel to Napa may be required several times per month, as well as some international and domestic travel

- Open to W-2 or 1099 arrangements, depending on if the candidate has a business entity established
