The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND. ## Your Responsibilities As a Part Time Student for John Deere located in Champaign, IL you will: * Define, implement, and maintain engineering pipelines & support tools for our Customer Data Products and/or Customer Data Hub * Partner with stakeholders to discover and define business metrics * Be an active stakeholder with business and engineering partners working on business insights, analytical dashboards, and customer/dealer facing applications * Work with product managers, engineering leads, architects and other stakeholders to build shared knowledge and best practices This position is not available to students on immigration visas ## What Skills You Need * Ideally, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field * Experience in designing and building cloud-based data solutions and data pipelines with AWS and Databricks * Experience in data solution development using Python and SQL * Experience with collaborative code contribution and testing using Github * Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S/local accredited university/college * Graduation date of Spring 2027 or later. * Available to work during the academic year (16-20 hours weekly). * Available to work during the summer semester (30-40 hours weekly). * Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S/local accredited university/college * Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above. * Must be able to commute to the work location in Champaign, IL.
