Pay Range: $75,000 - $99,000
Performance Based Bonus: bonuses tied to performance

Johnson Law Group is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Personal Injury team in Chicago. This role involves handling a broad range of personal injury matters and working collaboratively within a structured, team-based environment. The ideal candidate is client-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple matters while meeting the demands of an active caseload.

• →Handle personal injury case files from inception through resolution
• →Evaluate potential claims and provide legal guidance to prospective and existing clients
• →Draft, review, and revise pleadings, motions, discovery responses, demand letters, subpoenas, memoranda, and other legal documents
• →Conduct legal research related to personal injury matters, including applicable statutes and case law
• →Gather and analyze insurance policies, medical records, medical expenses, and other relevant evidence
• →Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and opposing counsel
• →Negotiate settlements and resolutions on behalf of clients
• →Represent clients at hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials as required
• →Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the firm’s case management system

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Active bar membership in the applicable jurisdiction
• Minimum of 2 years of experience handling personal injury matters (plaintiff-side preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to client service

• Experience conducting depositions, hearings, and mediations
• Bilingual proficiency preferred but not required
