Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Security Program Management
- →As the daily on site FSO you will develop and maintain security operational plans, SOPs, and compliance documentation.
- →Ensure adherence to 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM and contract-specific requirements.
- →Conduct audits, self-inspections, and support DCSA reviews.
- →Investigate security incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- →Personnel Security & Access Control
- →Manage clearances, security briefings, and indoctrinations using DISS, NBIS-e-App and Trust Decision Adjudication process.
- →Process access requests and maintain personnel security records.
- →Coordinate visit requests and enforce need-to-know principles
- →Deliver security training and awareness programs.
- →Classified Information Handling
- →Control, transmit, store, and destroy classified materials IAW regulations.
- →Maintain accountability records and conduct annual inventories.
- →Review DD254s and issue sub DD254 as necessary.
- →Physical Security & Facility Management
- →Oversee access controls, IDS, CCTV, and perimeter safeguards. Knowledge of security in debt with response to incidents as necessary.
- →Manage Facility Clearance (FCL) processes and physical security plans.
- →Knowledge on the submission of FCL Requests for approval.
- →Coordinate secure spaces with SCIF approval and daily operations.
- →Develop and maintain emergency evacuation plans.
- →Additional Responsibilities
- →Oversee and support Insider Threat Program Senior Office (ITPSO) and federal investigations.
- →Ensure compliance with TCPs, Export Control, and FOCI mitigations.
- →Stay current on security threats and best practices.
- →Travel: Some travel required.
🧠What You Bring
- →A bachelor’s degree in security management or related field (or equivalent experience).
- →10+ years in industrial security, including 5+ years as an FSO.
- →An active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- →Strong knowledge of NISPOM, DoD directives, ICD 705.
- →Proficiency with DISS, SWFT, NBIS-eApp & NISS.
- →Excellent supervisory, organizational and communication skills.
- →Ability to travel up to 20% to JRC facilities annually.
⭐Bonus Points
- →ISP, CPP, ITPSO and FSO certifications.
- →Experience in defense contracting (maritime or unmanned systems).
- →Knowledgeable with UL 2050 standards and Insider Threat Programs.
- →Graduate degree in a related field.
