Logistics & Supply ChainShipping Specialist

This position is INTERNAL ONLY. Only current employees of CNH Reman are to apply.

As Shipping Specialist, you will ship goods to and from the establishment; prepare records of goods shipped; make bills of lading; keep files of shipping records. You will move material within the warehouse or production facility using a variety of forklifts and load handling equipment. You will prepare material to ship by palletizing, wrapping, and weighing material. You will load and offload trucks. You will use bar code readers, computers, and other electronic devices. You will coordinate directly with trucking companies, FED-EX, UPS, and Depot 29 to coordinate the shipping of all outbound material. You will work with the safety department to ensure all local, state, and federal regulatory agencies requirements are met, OSHA 1910, NFPA, DNR. You will work with the quality department to ensure all quality standards are met.

Essential Requirements:

Follow all work instructions
Pick up and transport Finished Goods from the production staging areas to shipping
Process Shipping orders, Customer Orders and Transfer Orders for outbound material
Palletize, wrap, weigh, and load material on trucks for transport
Schedule transportation for all Finished Goods and material going to customers
Pull and process customer orders
Post shipping transactions in computer system
Prepare Bill of Ladings
Operate manual and electric pallet jacks, forklifts, WAVs, JLGs, radios, fax machine, copy machine, bar code scanners, scales, and computers.
Maintains material handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections
Follow all company Safety rules and requirements

Requirements:

High School Diploma or HiSet (Formerly GED)
Regular, predictable, and reliable attendance
Must work overtime as required
Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Globally Harmonized System (GHS) labels, Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
Ability to work with computers and software systems, must wear all personal protective equipment (PPE)
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stooping, twist, reach, reach overhead
Must be able to climb, Pull, Push, lift up to 49 pounds occasionally and lift up to 30 pounds constantly.
Must be able to attain a forklift license.
Work in a non-climate-controlled area
Must be able work well as a team
