Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Waterpark Maintenance Manager. This person is responsible for overseeing all waterpark maintenance operations, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of rides and attractions, and providing the leadership, training, and operational oversight necessary to achieve company objectives related to maintenance, safety, guest satisfaction, cleanliness, and cost management.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- Oversee daily waterpark maintenance operations, including ride inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, operational, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead, train, and develop the waterpark maintenance team.
- Maintain maintenance records, inspection logs, and required documentation.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, labor costs, and departmental resources.
- Monitor waterpark equipment and facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and guest-focused environment.
- Coordinate audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Manage inventory, supplies, and maintenance-related purchases.
- Ensure waterpark facilities are maintained to minimize operational disruptions and support an exceptional guest experience.
- 4+ years of experience in waterparks, theme parks, hospitality, facilities maintenance, construction, or a related field.
- Previous leadership experience managing maintenance teams preferred.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Strong knowledge of waterpark operations, ride maintenance, preventative maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, and facility systems.
- Understanding of safety regulations, inspections, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and travel as needed.
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments and lift up to 50 pounds.
