Responsibilities
~1 min read· Support the development and implementation of commercial and contracting strategies across project activities.
· Assist with administration of contractual matters including variations, claims, extensions of time and subcontract management.
· Monitor and report on project commercial performance, including budgets, forecasts, cash flow and risk exposure.
· Support the preparation, review and administration of subcontract agreements and purchase orders.
· Assist project teams with contractual interpretation and the application of commercial processes.
· Prepare contractual correspondence, notices and supporting documentation.
· Contribute to change management processes and support the identification and management of commercial risks and opportunities.
· Work closely with procurement, finance, legal and project teams to ensure alignment on commercial matters.
· Support the preparation of commercial reports and project reviews.
· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, lessons learned and commercial best practice across the business.
Requirements
~1 min read· Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Law, Finance, Management or a related discipline.
· 3 years + experience in a commercial, contracts, project controls, procurement or contract administration role.
· Experience supporting infrastructure, utilities, engineering consulting, construction or major project environments.
· Understanding of contract administration principles and commercial risk management.
· Exposure to managing variations, contractual notices, claims or subcontract administration.
· Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary project teams.
· High attention to detail with strong organisational and problem-solving capabilities.
· Experience working within utilities, energy, water or broader infrastructure sectors will be highly regarded.
