The Technical Trainer II develops, delivers, and continuously improves technical training programs that support production operations, safety, and quality standards. This position requires ability to independently facilitate complex technical topics, support audits, identify training gaps, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts.

• Develop and deliver instructor-led and hands-on technical training in support of production, safety, and quality requirements, including IPC certifications
• Train employees on internal processes and industry standards, demonstrating the ability to instruct a broad range of technical topics
• Evaluate trainee comprehension and performance through exams, observations, and on-the-job training (OJT)
• Administer and manage written and practical exams in accordance with certification and company requirements
• Maintain accurate training records and ensure administrative documentation is complete and compliant with internal processes
• Develop and update training materials, including lesson plans, job aids, course content, and certification criteria, in collaboration with SMEs
• Review and revise training content to reflect process changes, engineering updates, quality trends, and audit findings
• Demonstrate and enforce proper workmanship standards; provide coaching and feedback to improve trainee performance
• Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, resource planning, and session execution with minimal supervision

• Strong instructional skills with the ability to teach technical concepts clearly and patiently
• Ability to identify training and process gaps, recommend solutions, and implement improvements.
• Ability to serve as a technical resource during audits, compliance reviews, and process investigations.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively across Production, Quality, Engineering, Human Resources, and other functions.
• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and AI tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• AS/BS or equivalent degree in Engineering, Electronics, Manufacturing, Training, or a related field strongly preferred
• 4 years of relevant manufacturing and technical training experience
• Certified IPC Trainer (CIT) in IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and IPC/WHMA-A-620
• Master IPC Trainer (MIT), Master Training Specialist experience, or equivalent advanced technical expertise preferred.
• 2M/MTR Micro Miniature Repair experience a plus
• Armed Forces Solder/Basic Instructor Training (BIT) a plus.
• Must be a US Citizen.
