Data Scientist AI Solution Lead Consultant

This is a consultancy mission at the client site, representing Keystone Solutions. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be hired to work on client projects, bringing your expertise and values to every engagement.

The Data Tribe is central to the client’s data-driven transformation, creating value through data platforms, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence solutions, reporting tools, and data governance practices. The Data Tribe consists of four teams: Analytics & AI, Data Governance, Visualization Solutions, and Data Hub. The Analytics & AI team leverages company data to produce analyses, predictive models, and Data & AI solutions that support business decisions, improve operational efficiency, and create measurable value. The team is involved in the entire data value creation cycle: understanding business needs, framing use cases, conducting business analyses, developing statistical and AI models, measuring impact, supporting business teams in data-driven decision-making, and contributing to responsible and governed use of data. The client aims to strengthen its AI strategy and governance in line with group standards and regulatory requirements.

As part of the Analytics & AI team, you will act as a senior technical and functional expert, leading advanced Data Science and AI use cases from business scoping through operational deployment and monitoring. You will provide hands-on guidance, advice, and coaching to strengthen the team’s capabilities. You will work closely with business, Data, and IT teams to challenge needs, assess feasibility and value, and develop or supervise robust and scalable solutions. You will also play a key role in defining, structuring, and implementing the client’s enterprise-wide AI governance framework, ensuring that AI initiatives are identified, assessed, approved, monitored, and managed consistently in terms of value, investment, risk, and regulatory compliance.

• →Lead Data Science and AI use cases end to end, from business scoping and value assessment through development, deployment, adoption, and performance monitoring.
• →Challenge business needs, assess feasibility, define success criteria, and provide clear recommendations to support prioritization and investment decisions.
• →Develop advanced analytics, Machine Learning, and generative AI solutions, or supervise their delivery when other team members or partners are involved.
• →Coordinate business, Data, and IT stakeholders, and manage the risks, dependencies, and decisions required to move use cases forward.

• →Provide hands-on guidance, review the team’s work, and coach team members to strengthen their Data Science and AI capabilities.
• →Define and promote robust technical practices while advising business teams and management on AI opportunities, limitations, and implementation choices.

• →Lead the definition and implementation of the client’s enterprise-wide AI governance framework, in line with group standards, responsible AI principles, and the EU AI Act.
• →Establish practical processes to identify and assess AI initiatives, validate implementations, support investment decisions, track expected and realized value, and ensure regulatory compliance across the organization.

• University degree in a quantitative or technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI, including end-to-end delivery of solutions from business scoping through production and monitoring.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, Machine Learning, and generative AI, with a solid understanding of industrialization and MLOps.
• Experience as a senior technical reference, providing guidance, reviewing work, and coaching less experienced team members.
• Ability to challenge business needs, assess value and feasibility, and translate complex topics into clear recommendations for business and management audiences.
• Good understanding of enterprise-wide AI governance and the ability to help establish a framework to identify, assess, approve, and oversee AI initiatives, investments, value creation, and regulatory compliance.
• Comfortable coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and operating in a regulated environment.
• Fluent in English and in either French or Dutch.
