This is a consultancy mission at the client site, representing Keystone Solutions. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be hired to work on client projects, bringing your expertise and values to every engagement.


Our client is seeking a highly analytical and self-driven Test Reporting Engineer to join their COO Office team. The primary mission is to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of complex internal and financial reports generated within a proprietary Factoring IT ecosystem. The successful candidate will act as a critical bridge between business requirements and technical implementation, performing rigorous validation of reporting outputs to guarantee seamless deployment. This specialized role requires a unique blend of deep factoring domain expertise and IT testing proficiency.


Responsibilities

  • Independently design, develop, and execute comprehensive test scenarios tailored to factoring reporting requirements.
  • Perform functional and data-driven testing to ensure that reports accurately reflect underlying factoring transactions, client data, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of all testing activities, including clear, structured test plans, recording execution steps, and detailing results (pass/fail) to provide formal validation for report implementation.
  • Proactively identify discrepancies between expected and actual report outputs, providing clear feedback to IT and development teams.
  • Rapidly assimilate complex business logic and evolving IT system architectures to ensure testing coverage remains robust.

Requirements

  • Dutch: Highly advantageous (Strong asset) – will facilitate smoother collaboration with local stakeholders and teams.
  • French: Highly advantageous (Strong asset) – will facilitate smoother collaboration with local stakeholders and teams.
  • English: Excellent/Fluent (Mandatory) – ability to work and document in a professional international environment.

  • Master’s degree from a recognized university in Finance & Economics, Information Systems, or a closely related quantitative field (e.g., Business Administration, Mathematics, IT or Financial Engineering).

  • Certifications or formal training specifically related to Factoring, Receivables Finance, or Credit Risk Management are considered a significant competitive advantage.
  • Professional certification in software testing methodologies is highly desirable.

  • Available to work from the client’s Turnhout office (Belgium) for a minimum of one day per week to ensure alignment with the local team.
  • Expectation: 50% on site & 50% homeworking.

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Good understanding of IT and testing: Strong comfort level working within complex IT environments and database-driven reporting systems.
  • Experience with requirements management.
  • Experience with conceptual modelling techniques and methods.

  • Good understanding of workflow processes.
  • Deep, advanced knowledge of factoring processes and products (e.g., recourse/non-recourse, assignment of receivables, credit limits, etc.).

  • Analytical mind – conceptual thinking: Proven ability to approach data with a critical eye, identifying subtle inconsistencies in large financial datasets.
  • Structured approach.
  • Able to work independently: Proven ability to manage your own workload and take full responsibility for the validation lifecycle.
