You will play a key role in improving smoke, heat, and CO detectors for the residential market—developing ultra-low-power, robust wireless communication protocols and enhancing detection algorithms.
Working with us means participating in every stage of product development: from system analysis and architectural decisions to implementation, documentation, and collaboration with laboratories, production lines, and customer support.
We value ownership and accountability—you will be responsible for your subsystem while maintaining a clear understanding of how it integrates with the broader system.
Your Responsibilities
Develop firmware and contribute to system architecture
Prototype and validate new concepts of fire hazard sensing technologies
Collaborate with hardware, analytics, and test engineers
Mentor junior engineers
Conduct code reviews and audits
Technical Skills Required
Strong experience in embedded C
Experience with unit testing
Hands-on experience with Cortex-M0+ systems (e.g., STM, TI, Holtek), both bare-metal and lightweight RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, Segger embOS)
Familiarity with debugging tools and programmers
Ability to read and understand electronic schematics
Experience in low-power and battery optimization
Experience with logic analyzers and oscilloscopes
Proficiency with Git
Soft Skills
Ownership mindset and willingness to take responsibility for a specific area
Ability to break down complex tasks into manageable components
Proactive risk identification and communication
Good written and spoken English
Nice to Have

Individuals may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on both individual and company’s performance.
