Video Editor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and English-proficient Video Editor to join our Post-Production team. This is a remote role, best suited for an independent self-starter who has a strong eye for pacing and maintaining top-tier production quality. 

In this role, you will be responsible for taking video content through the entire editing pipeline—from shaping raw footage to delivering polished, high-quality final course videos that meet KnowledgeCity’s predefined standards. 

Responsibilities: 

• Edit video courses to completion using Adobe Premiere Pro, meticulously selecting the best takes while adhering to an English-written script. 

• Conduct post-production audio clean-up using Adobe Audition to enhance and refine audio quality. 

• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and troubleshoot projects to ensure smooth production processes. 

• Manage files and efficiently locate course materials to maintain organized project workflows. 

• Foster daily collaboration with team members to synchronize efforts and achieve project goals effectively. 

• Work with content and other departments to address technical and script-related issues promptly. 

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and organization. 

Qualifications: 

• Fluency in English (United States) (Language) 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a video editing role 

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition 

• High-speed internet access 

• Strong understanding of video and audio editing fundamentals 

• Resourceful and self-sufficient, with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision after training 

• Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills 

• Detail-oriented, with the ability to review videos for errors and make necessary corrections 

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines 

• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills 

• Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards following company guidelines 
• Remote working requires the following equipment: good quality headphones, a consistent home office location, a quiet workspace, a fast computer with a GPU, an external hard drive, a mouse, and a keyboard.
