Senior Product Manager

About the role

We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Product Manager to lead major product areas across Kodem’s AppSec platform, owning high-impact initiatives end-to-end, from product strategy and multi-quarter roadmapping to execution, customer validation, rollout, adoption, and iteration. You’ll work at the intersection of deep technical complexity and product thinking, collaborating closely with engineering, UX, security research, and customer-facing teams to translate complex challenges into simple, scalable solutions and deliver products that solve real-world problems while helping shape the future of Kodem.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead large product areas with deep technical complexity, from strategy to delivery and ongoing iteration
• Define long-term product vision and translate it into clear multi-quarter roadmaps
• Work directly with architects, senior engineers, and R&D leadership to guide solution design and execution
• Engage with customers at all levels from hands-on engineers to senior security leaders - to understand needs, validate concepts, and form strong partnerships
• Communicate complex concepts simply to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Lead customer discovery, interviews, validation cycles, and ongoing feedback loops
• Collaborate with UX to design intuitive, multi-persona workflows and experiences
• Drive cross-functional alignment across R&D, UX, Sales, CSM, Support, and Marketing
• Run beta programs for complex features, ensuring high-quality releases with measurable success criteria
• Define KPIs, usage metrics, product analytics, and customer insights to guide prioritization and drive decisions
• Conduct deep competitive and market analysis to identify opportunities and strengthen product positioning
• Create clear PRDs, specifications, and internal/external documentation to keep teams aligned
• Help shape product processes and contribute to improving how the product team operates
• Serve as a product expert internally and externally, representing Kodem in strategic conversations
• Mentor other PMs and help elevate product craftsmanship across the team
  
  

Must-Have Qualifications

• 6+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, developer tools, or cloud platforms
• Experience writing PRDs, technical specs, and customer-facing documentation
• Demonstrated success owning and delivering complex technical products end-to-end
• Strong strategic thinking - able to define product vision, roadmap, and success metrics
• Deep technical understanding of modern development workflows, APIs, CLI, architecture diagrams, logs, cloud environments, and SDLC
• Experience working directly with engineering, architects, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Able to navigate ambiguity and provide structure in complex problem spaces
• Hands-on product manager with a strong inclination toward execution, validation, and technical deep-dives
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including customer-facing interactions
• Proven ability to run discovery and validation programs with customers at scale
• Strong collaboration skills with external facing positions such as CSM, Support, and GTM teams
• High ownership, self-starter mentality, and ability to thrive in fast-moving startup environments
• Experience driving alignment across teams and managing complex cross-functional projects
• Tech-savvy and AI-savvy, with curiosity for learning and exploring deep technical domains

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity, AppSec, Dev tools, SAST/SCA, or runtime/cloud security
• Experience with cloud infrastructures (AWS, GCP, Azure) and/or self-hosted or air-gapped deployments
• Development or engineering background
• Experience delivering products to enterprise or regulated environments
• Experience designing or supporting AI-driven product features
• Experience mentoring PMs or shaping PM processes
