The Opportunity

A physician-led private practice in the West Orange area is looking for a full-time anesthesiologist for GI cases only. Compensation is $500,000 W-2, with malpractice, 25 PTO days, and the practice paying 50 percent of the employee health premium. The schedule is five days a week. One of those days is on the weekend. No call. No nights.

This is GI. Upper and lower endoscopy. MAC and general. No hospital nights. No first call. You work at centers in North Jersey. The practice is growing and is adding anesthesiologists to cover the GI rooms. You do your own cases. You leave when the list is done.

What You Will Do

You will provide anesthesia for GI patients in an outpatient setting. Pre-op assessment, the plan, MAC or general, and recovery. Colonoscopy and upper endoscopy are the day. Five days a week, and one of those days is a weekend day. No hospital. No inpatient rounding. No first call. No nights. Centers in the West Orange / North Jersey area.

Qualifications

Board-certified or board-eligible anesthesiologist — required

Active New Jersey license or ability to obtain prior to start — required

Experience with MAC and general anesthesia for GI — required

A team player who can work a five-day week with one weekend day
