Join our team as a Learning Experience Designer Intern!

 

Location: Gainesville, Georgia
Company: Kubota Manufacturing of America
Duration: 12 weeks
Hours: 40 hours per week

 

Job Summary: 

Support Kubota Manufacturing of America's Learning & Development team by assisting with training administration, Learning Management System (LMS) support, content development, reporting, and employee learning initiatives. This internship provides hands-on experience in corporate training, instructional design, employee development, and learning technologies while contributing to projects that enhance workforce capability and engagement. 

 

 

Roles & Responsibilities: 

 

  • Learning Management System (LMS) Administration 
  • Provide support to employees utilizing the Learning Management System (LMS), assisting with navigation, enrollment, and troubleshooting. 
  • Monitor training assignments and support course completion tracking. 
  • Assist with LMS data maintenance, user access management, and system updates. 
  • Respond to LMS-related questions and escalate issues when necessary. 
  • Training Content & Instructional Support 
  • Assist in creating user guides, instructional materials, and job aids to support employee learning. 
  • Develop engaging presentations and visual content for training programs and workshops. 
  • Support the organization, formatting, and maintenance of training materials. 
  • Review existing training content and identify opportunities for updates, enhancements, and rebranding. 
  • Training Analytics & Reporting 
  • Support reporting requests by gathering and analyzing LMS data. 
  • Assist in tracking training participation, completion rates, and program effectiveness. 
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate learning metrics. 
  • Help maintain accurate training records and documentation. 
  • Project Support & Continuous Improvement 
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development team members on training initiatives and special projects. 
  • Research learning and development trends, best practices, and innovative training solutions. 
  • Assist with employee development programs, onboarding initiatives, and training events. 
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to learning processes and employee development programs. 
  • Professional Development & Team Collaboration 
  • Participate in meetings, training sessions, and development opportunities. 
  • Collaborate effectively with HR, business leaders, and employees across the organization. 
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and business information. 
  • Complete additional projects and assignments as needed.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):  

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting. 
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative. 
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. 
  • Must be actively pursuing a related degree throughout the internship period. 
  • Expected graduation date must be December 2027 or later. 
  • Candidates who have already graduated or who will graduate before December 2027 are not eligible. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or other learning technologies. 
  • Experience creating presentations, training materials, or instructional content. 
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles or instructional design concepts. 
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, or dashboard creation. 
  • Previous internship, leadership, or project experience. 

 

Education Requirements: 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. 

 

Language Requirements: 

Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English.
