Description

Leeman Electric, an affiliate of a national commercial construction company, is expanding operations to include high-end residential electrical service, upgrades, renovations, and light commercial work in North Georgia. The Lead Electrician will provide hands-on electrical expertise while helping establish field standards, support customer relationships, and help build the electrical service team. The position will work closely with executive management and contribute to the growth and development of the operation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and perform residential and commercial electrical service work, including installations, upgrades, renovations, troubleshooting, and repairs
Diagnose electrical issues and recommend professional solutions that meet customer needs and applicable electrical requirements.
Provide a high level of service to residential customers, contractors, designers, and commercial clients.
Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners, contractors, designers, commercial clients, and company leadership.
Help recruit, train, mentor, and develop electricians and technicians as the company grows.
Assist management in developing field procedures, service standards, safety practices, and best practices.
Use technology, mobile applications, scheduling systems, estimating tools, customer communication tools, documentation systems, and field-service software as required.
Identify additional customer needs and service opportunities and communicate those opportunities to management in accordance with company procedures
Support executive management with business-growth initiatives related to the electrical service operation.
Help establish and maintain a culture of professionalism, accountability, quality, safety, and exceptional customer service.
Perform other related duties as assigned that are consistent with the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum six (6) years of electrical experience.
Strong residential electrical service and troubleshooting experience.
Commercial electrical experience preferred.
Strong ability to lead and mentor electricians and technicians.
Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and safe work practices.
Strong communication, customer-service, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to use mobile applications, technology, and modern field-service software.
Ability to assist with recruiting and developing a field team.
Self-motivated, dependable, organized, and accountable.
Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements when driving is an essential job responsibility
