Shape Tomorrow’s Infrastructure Today
At Lamp Rynearson, we believe engineering is more than just technical plans — it’s about people, places, and purpose. As a 66 year-young firm specializing in engineering, surveying, planning, and consulting, we’re looking for a talented Professional Engineer who wants to make a meaningful impact on the communities we serve.

We’re looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join our Design Group in our Omaha headquarters. If you have a passion for land development and infrastructure design and want to contribute to projects that leave a lasting legacy, we’d love to meet you.

Why Join Lamp Rynearson?
We’re not just a workplace — we’re a community of professionals who:
• Support each other through mentorship, collaboration, and career growth
• Prioritize work-life balance and flexibility (including a hybrid work option)
• Volunteer time, donate resources, and get involved in causes we believe in
• Live our mission of “leaving a legacy of enduring improvements to our communities”

What You’ll Be Doing
• As a Senior Project Engineer, you’ll be a key member of our team. Your experience will help guide both projects and people, from concept to completion. Responsibilities include:
• Performing or delegating design tasks to project engineers and technicians
• Making critical design decisions and reviewing project deliverables
• Preparing correspondence, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates
• Working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes

What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution
• Registered Professional Engineer with 4–8 years of experience (or equivalent as a Project Engineer)
• Experience in civil design plan development
• Ability to complete stormwater and sanitary drainage studies
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Strong organizational, technical writing, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• A collaborative spirit — comfortable working independently or as part of a team
• A knack for presenting ideas clearly, both in writing and in person

Ready to Make an Impact?
We’re proud to offer competitive compensation, excellent benefits, and plenty of room to grow — professionally, and personally. Join a team where your work matters — to your colleagues, your community, and your career. If you’re looking for a place where innovation, collaboration, and purpose come together, we’re ready to welcome you.

Apply now and help us shape what's next.

We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
