Manufacturing Engineer

Lasko Products, a market leader in home comfort products for over 100 years, is looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer team in our Franklin, TN manufacturing facility. 

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Project Management – Leading engineering projects to completion, timely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
• Problem Solving - Solving operational problems using a systematic analysis process by leveraging industry standard methodologies; determining the assignable cause; implements robust, data-based solutions; identifying the systemic root causes and recommending actions to prevent problem reoccurrence.
• Continuous Improvement – Identifying and improving upon opportunities for improvement.
• Equipment/Capital Procurement - Selecting manufacturing equipment which meets the Lasko Products manufacturing specifications, as well as project or program needs.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Four (4) year degree in Engineering
• Three (3) plus years working in a manufacturing setting, preferably with Injection Molding, Stamping Resistance Welding, and conveyor equipment

• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics; ability to troubleshoot
• Use CAD as a communication tool; Read drawings; 2D Layouts in CAD
• Understanding of PLC and Read Ladder Logic
• Exposure to sheet metal bending/forming
• Understanding of GD&T and proper use of metrology equipment.
• Proficient in problem-solving tools – 8D, 5Y, DMAIC
• PFMEA Experience
• Understands injection molding process
• Ability to lead Cross Functional teams in the review of Product and Equipment Drawings
• Robotic experience a plus
