Direct Consultant: Director of Worship Leaders
Hours Commitment: Full-time (40-45 hours per week) with regular weekend responsibilities.
Objective: To lead the Clarks Summit campus to increasing effectiveness at introducing more and more people to Jesus and helping them to fully follow him.
Have a personal relationship with Jesus and demonstrate ongoing spiritual growth through everyday habits and practices.
Support LCBC’s mission to introduce people to Jesus and together fully follow him, along with our ministry philosophy, priorities, and beliefs.

Be an LCBC Partner, or willing to become one within 60 days of employment. Regularly attend and participate at LCBC prior to and/or upon employment.
Commit to leading worship 46-48 weekends per year.
Carry out the weekend plan on location with excellence, passion, and authenticity.
Recruit, train and pastor a community of musicians and artists, who are gifted, prepared, connected, healthy and growing.
Schedule volunteers with consistency and timeliness using Planning Center Online.
Take initiative to stay up-to-date on all centrally planning elements for weekend gatherings and special events.
Provide weekly communication to volunteers about weekend gathering information and programming details.
Intentionally connect with all volunteers on your team at least 3 times a year (1 of the connections will identify goals for growth).
Assist Worship Department in cultivating a worship culture that is God honoring, engaging, and accessible to those who are far from God, as well as challenging and encouraging to those who are Christ followers.
Contribute creatively to the Worship Department in the following ways, but not limited to:
Song Development and Research
Creative Elements and moments for weekend gatherings
Special gathering elements (Christmas, Easter, Campaign, etc.)
Best practices and team management ideas
Songwriting
Attend and contribute to Worship Department meetings and projects which include, but are not limited to:
Weekly Worship Department meetings
Regional Team meetings
Worship Department Bible Study
Music Recordings
Nights of Worship
DEVELUP Program
Outdoor Worship Nights
The Worship Leader’s primary role is to serve the greater vision of LCBC Church (introducing people to Jesus and together fully following him).
Be a team player: participate in staff meetings and location-specific events/initiatives such as Growth Track classes, conferences, outdoor worship nights, etc.
Pastoral ability: participate in pastoral care by serving on the PRT (Pastoral Response Team) rotation, and provide music and programming for weddings and funerals.
Ability to lead and participate in “All-Church” functions and events such as: All Staff Huddles, All Staff Meetings, LCBC U, Capital Campaigns, Conferences, etc.

Evaluation:
The Clarks Summit Worship Leader will meet regularly with the Clarks Summit Campus Pastor for planning, goal-setting, progress updates, and general coaching. A formal Action and Development Plan will be completed and reviewed three times throughout the year.
