Construction Manager

Position Title: Construction Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee construction projects from planning and pre-construction through completion. The successful candidate will coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, schedules, budgets, quality, and site safety while ensuring projects are delivered according to specifications and applicable building codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from pre-construction through completion.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and milestones.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and suppliers.
• Monitor daily site activities and overall project progress.
• Review plans, specifications, drawings, and change orders.
• Ensure construction work meets quality standards and project specifications.
• Monitor project costs and identify potential budget risks.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, safety procedures, and applicable building codes.
• Conduct site meetings and provide regular progress reports.
• Resolve construction issues, delays, and coordination conflicts.
• Review contractor performance and subcontractor deliverables.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and project closeout.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 5+ years of construction management experience.
• Experience managing commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Procore, or similar construction software.
• Knowledge of U.S. building codes and OSHA safety requirements.
• Strong contractor and subcontractor management skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work on active construction sites and travel between project locations when required.
• OSHA certification and PMP certification are advantageous.
