Level99 is a sprawling playground designed for adults with over 50 life-sized mini-games where Players dodge axes, crack puzzles, and outsmart real-world challenges. Each game lasts about 1–4 minutes and is built for 2–6 people to play together. One ticket to Level99 unlocks access to all of our games including Challenge Rooms, Player-vs-Player duels, and an art scavenger hunt. We save your progress each time you play so you can earn rewards and climb our coveted leaderboard.

The CNC Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of our shop CNC machine, and an important part of the larger fabrication team. The Level99 CNC Operator builds game components working closely with the engineers, designers and fabricators to ensure that components are precise and scenic details are successfully executed. The Level99 CNC Operator at our Norwood MA design and build production facility plays a critical role in producing precision cut components that support the fabrication of our interactive challenges and scenic environments.

Operate CNC routers and related equipment to cut, machine, and produce parts from wood, plastics, and other materials

Set up jobs including loading material, securing stock, setting zero points, and selecting appropriate tooling

Read and interpret shop drawings, cut files, and job specifications to execute accurate CNC operations

Monitor machine operation to ensure quality, accuracy, and safe performance throughout each job

Perform basic machine maintenance including cleaning and routine upkeep

Work closely with CNC Programmers, Engineers, and Fabricators to ensure parts meet required specifications and tolerances

Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy before releasing them to the fabrication team

Organize and label cut parts for efficient downstream assembly

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized CNC workspace and surrounding shop area

Track material usage and communicate needs for replenishment

Support the broader fabrication team with assembly, material prep, and general production tasks when CNC work is not actively required

2+ years of hands on experience operating CNC routers or similar digital fabrication equipment

Strong understanding of machine setup including workholding, zeroing, and tool selection

Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, cut files, and fabrication documentation

High attention to detail and commitment to producing clean, accurate parts

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities

Experience with CAM software and preparing toolpaths

Familiarity with CNC file formats and workflows (DXF, G code, etc.)

Experience working in a fabrication shop, scenic shop, or manufacturing environment

Basic woodworking or fabrication experience for downstream assembly support

OSHA 10 certification

While we don’t expect a candidate to have deep experience in all of the above, we’re looking for someone with the passion and capability to learn quickly in the areas that are new!
