That is why we are currently seeking the newest innovator with experience in Display Picture Quality Engineering to join our team as a Color Scientist located in Santa Clara, California. This is an onsite position.
· Conduct research on human vision and its interaction with display devices.
· Collaborate with partners on advanced vision and display research:
· Participate in industry / standards organizations
· Lead Picture Quality (PQ) R&D for advanced display technologies.
· Apply expertise in color science and visual perception to optimize video display systems.
· Measurement and evaluation of picture quality in various displays and identifying improvement opportunities.
· Utilize scripting and advanced programming languages for PQ algorithms and analysis.
· Conduct display metrology and performance evaluations using industry tools.
Requirements
~1 min read· Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering with minimum 8 years related experience, OR Graduate degree in Science or Engineering with minimum 6 years of experience.
· Proven experience and understanding of color science and visual perception of images and color as it pertains to video display systems.
· Experience in Picture Quality-related R&D and authoring peer-reviewed technical publications
· Sound interpersonal skills with ability to articulate details for fact-based and intuitive decision making.
