Maintenance Technician / Mechanic – Transportation Shop

We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician / Mechanic to inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair a diverse equipment fleet, including forklifts, scissor lifts, golf carts, and floor scrubbers. This role supports safe, reliable operations through preventive maintenance, accurate service records, and quality customer service.

• →Inspect equipment and perform diagnostic testing to identify worn or damaged parts.
• →Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and correct equipment deficiencies.
• →Repair, adjust, or replace major assemblies, subassemblies, components, and parts, including powertrains, drivetrains, electrical systems, air conditioning, fuel systems, brakes, steering, and hydraulics.
• →Clean and maintain equipment appearance.
• →Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• →Keep the shop and shop equipment clean and well maintained.
• →Participate in available educational opportunities to maintain and expand technical knowledge.
• →Support the maintenance department and company through knowledgeable work and strong customer service.

• Two year certificate from college or technical school; or 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Positive attitude and great communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Problem solving and decision making abilities
• Self-motivated
• Team player

• Dependable, punctual, and available for overtime when required.
• Clean driving record; motor vehicle record (MVR) required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
