Promotions & Event Coordinator

-  2–5 years experience in event coordination, hospitality, customer service, restaurant, brewery, catering, promotions, sales, or related industry preferred
-  High level of customer service and communication skills
-  Outgoing personality and comfort interacting with customers, businesses, community organizations, vendors, and large groups
-  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-  Ability to manage multiple events, deadlines, and projects simultaneously
-  Sales-minded with the ability to convert inquiries into booked events
-  Creative thinker who can develop new promotions and event concepts
-  Google/Microsoft Office Suite user
-  Familiarity with CRM and event management programs
-  Familiarity with POS systems
-  Comfortable using social media and digital communication tools
-  Ability to lead, schedule, and communicate expectations to Brand Ambassadors
-  Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects
-  Public speaking and presentation comfort
-  Ability to lift tables, chairs, event equipment, coolers, and supplies (up to 30 lbs.) repeatedly
-  Ability to work evenings and weekends as required by events and promotions
-  Familiarity with craft beer and beverages preferred, with a willingness to continually learn about Lift Bridge products

 

Responsibilities

Private Events & Group Sales

-  Serve as a primary point of contact for private events, parties, corporate gatherings, happy hours, group reservations, and other special events at the Stillwater Taproom.
-  Respond promptly and professionally to private event inquiries.
-  Actively work to convert inquiries into booked events.
-  Manage customer communication from initial inquiry through completion of the event.
-  Coordinate event details including timing, room layouts, food and beverage needs, special requests, signage, décor, and other requirements.
-  Work with Taproom management and staff to clearly communicate upcoming event needs and expectations.
-  Coordinate setup and cleanup for private and public events.
-  Assist with "high profile" client gatherings when necessary.
-  Develop and implement new private event opportunities within the brewery.
-  Help develop and improve event packages, pricing, minimums, and add-on opportunities.
-  Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, nonprofits, event planners, and community groups to generate new event business.
-  Proactively pursue corporate happy hours, holiday parties, team gatherings, celebrations, and other group business.
-  Track event bookings, revenue, customer feedback, and results.
-  Work toward a goal of generating measurable growth in private event revenue.

Taproom Promotions & Public Events

-  Develop and coordinate a consistent calendar of promotions and events that give customers a reason to visit the Taproom.
-  Coordinate recurring programs including community organization features, live entertainment, special releases, community nights, holiday events, and other Taproom promotions.
-  Develop promotions designed specifically to increase traffic during traditionally slower days and times.
-  Coordinate entertainment, vendors, food partners, supplies, signage, schedules, staffing needs, and other event logistics.
-  Execute promotions, giveaways, and other marketing opportunities onsite.
-  Work with Marketing to coordinate printed and digital materials including posters, flyers, handouts, social media content, email communication, and in-Taproom signage.
-  Design and execute décor in the Taproom and event spaces periodically.
-  Be onsite for key events and promotions to ensure a high level of execution.
-  Evaluate events and promotions based on attendance, sales, customer feedback, and overall effectiveness.
-  Continually develop new ideas that make the Lift Bridge Taproom fun, relevant, and connected to our community.
