Responsibilities

As an Advanced Practitioner, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering a first-class service to children and young people in Gloucestershire. Our client adopts a systematic social work practise, taking a relational approach to working with families.

  • Managing a small, protected case hold up to 8 children and young people.  
  • Ability to deal with complex cases and supervise the development of Trainee and Newly Qualified Social Workers.
  • Promoting quality control and improvement activities within the team.
  • Demonstrate experience within safeguarding and assessment at a Senior Social worker level.
  • Qualified Social Worker and registered with Social Work England (SWE).
  • Valid driving license.
  • Up to date knowledge of legislative framework and evidence-based best practice initiatives.
  • Practise Educator Qualification (or working towards).
