Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist - Oncology to join our client's leading private hospital in Dublin, offering competitive pay,
 
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced oncology nurse to take on a specialist role within a modern acute hospital environment, providing expert, patient-centred care and supporting the ongoing development of oncology services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist nursing care to patients receiving oncology treatments, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy and radiotherapy
  • Undertake comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualised care plans
  • Coordinate investigations, treatment and patient follow-up in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Monitor patients throughout treatment and manage symptoms and treatment-related side effects
  • Provide patients and families with education, information, advice and emotional support
  • Act as a patient advocate, supporting informed decision-making throughout the treatment journey
  • Work closely with consultants, nursing teams, GPs and wider MDT colleagues
  • Contribute to clinical education, mentorship, audit, research and continuous quality improvement

Requirements

To be successful in this role you must have, 

  • Registered General Nurse with current NMBI registration
  • Minimum 5 years' recent post-registration nursing experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in oncology/specialist nursing
  • Level 8 post-registration qualification relevant to Oncology Nursing, or willingness to complete this within one year
  • Strong clinical, communication and leadership skills
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based and patient-centred care
