Our client is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Social Care team in Nottingham on a locum basis. This is a community-focused role where you will deliver assessments and interventions that promote independence, reduce reliance on care packages, and ensure safe and effective moving and handling practices.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Assess and prescribe moving and handling equipment to meet individual needs
- →Deliver single-handed care solutions to promote independence and reduce care reliance
- →Review and reduce packages of care through effective assessment and intervention
- →Work collaboratively with colleagues across health and social care services
- →Maintain accurate records in line with professional and statutory requirements

~1 min readTo be successful in this role you must have,
- Degree/MSc in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC Registration
- Experience in Adult Social Care
- Proven ability in assessing and prescribing moving and handling equipment
- Experience in single-handed care approaches
- Skilled in reviewing and reducing care packages
- Experience with Liquid Logic preferred
