Our client is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Social Care team in Nottingham on a locum basis. This is a community-focused role where you will deliver assessments and interventions that promote independence, reduce reliance on care packages, and ensure safe and effective moving and handling practices.

Responsibilities

→Assess and prescribe moving and handling equipment to meet individual needs
→Deliver single-handed care solutions to promote independence and reduce care reliance
→Review and reduce packages of care through effective assessment and intervention
→Work collaboratively with colleagues across health and social care services
→Maintain accurate records in line with professional and statutory requirements

Requirements

To be successful in this role you must have,

Degree/MSc in Occupational Therapy
HCPC Registration
Experience in Adult Social Care
Proven ability in assessing and prescribing moving and handling equipment
Experience in single-handed care approaches
Skilled in reviewing and reducing care packages
Experience with Liquid Logic preferred
