Equipment and Material Driver

• →Safely perform and direct the loading and unloading of trucks
• →Transport electrical materials in a safe, responsible manner
• →Perform daily vehicle inspections and communicate any problems and standard maintenance with your vehicle
• →Understand and complete the log book
• →Submit monthly vehicle reports to fleet
• →Perform additional ad hoc responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to various office and warehouse/yard projects

• Have at least six months experience driving/transporting materials
• Have experience pulling trailers
• Be at least 21 years of age with a High School diploma or GED
• Have a clean Motor Vehicle Record

• Exercise independent judgment and be motivated to grow and develop professionally
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving and customer service skills

• Outside most of the time.
• Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures
• Limited working surfaces
• Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors
• Exposure to areas with limited visibility
• Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights)
• Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time monthly for required tasks
• If driving is required, a valid driver’s license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search. 

This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro's Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies.
