Industrial Painter

The ideal candidate will have experience in applying various industrial coatings to metal surfaces, machinery, and other industrial structures. You will play a critical role in ensuring that all surfaces are properly prepared and coated to meet strict quality standards for durability, appearance, and safety.

Loenbro Southwest is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our Coatings Division. The ideal candidate will have experience in applying various industrial coatings to metal surfaces, machinery, and other industrial structures. You will play a critical role in ensuring that all surfaces are properly prepared and coated to meet strict quality standards for durability, appearance, and safety.

• →Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, blasting, and masking to ensure proper adhesion of coatings.
• →Apply industrial coatings, including primers, epoxy, urethane, and specialized finishes using spray guns, rollers, or brushes.
• →Mix and match paints and coatings according to technical specifications and safety standards.
• →Perform inspections to ensure quality, thickness, and uniformity of the coating.
• →Operate and maintain spray equipment, compressors, and other tools safely and effectively.
• →Follow all safety guidelines, including the proper handling of hazardous materials and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• →Maintain clean work areas and ensure that all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
• →Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.
  Qualifications
  Proven experience as an industrial painter, preferably in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial setting.
• →Proficiency in using various coating application techniques (airless spray, conventional spray, etc.).
• →Knowledge of coating types, including epoxies, polyurethanes, and zinc-based primers.
• →Strong understanding of surface preparation techniques and industry standards.
• →Ability to read and interpret technical documents and coating specifications.
• →Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• →Familiarity with safety standards and practices in industrial environments, including OSHA guidelines.
• →Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
  Preferred Qualifications:
• →Certification in industrial painting or coatings application.
• →Experience with abrasive blasting.
• →Forklift or other heavy equipment certification
