  • Streamline lessons learned and best practices across vehicle programs and supplier partners.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering teams to align supplier capabilities with product requirements.
  • Support supplier selection activities by evaluating technical and manufacturing readiness.
  • Ensure manufacturing requirements and quality expectations are incorporated throughout the product development process.
  • Lead Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFM/A) reviews and drive implementation of manufacturing improvements.
  • Partner directly with suppliers to develop new manufacturing techniques and process controls required to meet challenging product specifications.
  • Perform supplier assessments, manufacturing audits, process evaluations, and site inspections.
  • Develop supplier improvement plans and drive implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor and report supplier performance metrics, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, reliability, productivity, and manufacturing excellence.
  • Lead and track all supplier-driven Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Change Management/Product Change Notification (CM-PCN) activities.
  • Ensure changes are properly validated, implemented, and communicated across stakeholders.
  • Identify manufacturing and program risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership regarding supplier performance, program status, KPIs, risks, and improvement plans.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Incoming Quality, Material Planning, and Plant Supplier Quality teams to protect production operations from supplier quality issues.
  • Lead root cause investigations and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support system builds, prototype builds, validation builds, and launch activities.
  • Define incoming inspection requirements and drive supplier containment activities when necessary.
  • Ensure sustainable, long-term improvements are implemented and verified.
