Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer for a recently awarded government contract, you are the architect of the highly complex systems that drive our mission forward. We are looking for a creative problem-solver who enjoys building, maintaining, and transforming complex, processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithms, and cloud-scale environments. You will ensure the scalability, performance, and operational excellence of our codebases, working alongside technical leads and system architects to engineer mission-critical components.

• →Analyze user and system requirements to derive complex software design, performance metrics and interface constraints.
• →Design, code, test and modify new software solutions or enhance existing software to adapt to new hardware, optimize performance, and integrate components into modified operating systems.
• →Develop and implement advanced mathematical algorithms, structural data repositories, and complex databased queries that meet strict timing and system resource boundaries.
• →Incorporate Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) functionality to optimizr software design and architecture reuse.
• →Provide technical and strategic leadership to software development teams, delegate responsibilities, choose appopriate development processes, and perform rigorous quality control checks on final team deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 4 years of additional software engineering experience on projects with similar software processed may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
  

• SWE0: 0+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• SWE1: 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• SWE2: 14+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• SWE3: 20+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
