As the Head of Product Marketing at Lumos, you will be a core builder of the future of autonomous identity, redefining the market’s expectations for identity and access management solutions in the agentic era. You’ll be at the nexus of product, sales, and the market at large. From owning how we articulate our value, differentiate in a crowded identity landscape, and translate complex capabilities into clarity that moves buyers, you’ll be a senior leader who builds the next leader in identity.
We’re not on a mission to simply improve IAM. We’re transforming it. That means our story must be as sharp as our technology. This role is responsible for ensuring Lumos shows up with clear, credible, differentiated messaging that drives our GTM motions.
You’ll partner closely with the rest of the marketing organization, Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to shape Lumos’ positioning, run product launches, lead competitive intelligence, build high-impact content, and enable go-to-market teams to win.
As a Senior Director of Product Marketing at Lumos, you have massive opportunity to define how the market understands identity—not as a control problem, but as a business accelerator.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Own messaging & positioning for Autonomous Identity, across products, solutions, and personas, ensuring clarity, consistency, and differentiation that captures our innovation and is rooted directly in the experience and needs of our customers.
- →Lead competitive intelligence to succinctly and specifically articulate ‘why Lumos’, while developing the systems and artifacts, including battlecards, win/loss insights, and market POVs, that turn intelligence into impact.
- →Build and execute processes for product launches, alliance partnerships, new integrations, and more, with the goal of delivering consistency and excellence at scale.
- →Create content that converts people into believers the future of Autonomous Identity, including sales decks, solution briefs, white papers, and customer stories
- 8–12+ years of experience in Product Marketing, with experience leading or owning PMM at a high-growth SaaS company
- Strong background in security, ideally at a fast growing security company
- Proven strength in messaging, positioning, and narrative development for technical products
- Experience with solutions marketing and translating product capabilities into buyer value
- Demonstrated success partnering within marketing and cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Exec teams
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and executional levels, especially while growing a high performance team
- Strong written and verbal communicator who can simplify complexity without losing meaning
- Nice to have:
- Experience working in the identity, IAM, IGA, PAM, or adjacent domains
- Claude Code or Claude Cowork or other similar AI-native tool acumen
- Track record running analyst relations and influence
- Customer expansion & adoption marketing, including messaging for post-sale value, upsell, or platform expansion.
