Stange Law Firm, PC is accepting resumes for a dynamic, highly motivated Full-Time Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or Legal Secretary to join our Clayton, Missouri office, which is moving to Creve Coeur, Missouri on August 1, 2026.

As a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or Legal Secretary, your responsibilities may include:
-
Professionally greeting clients and visitors.
-
Answering incoming telephone calls and accurately relaying messages.
-
Scheduling appointments and assisting with client communications.
-
Coordinating with courts, opposing counsel, and third parties.
-
Preparing, drafting, and proofreading pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents.
-
Preparing documents for filing with courts and other agencies.
-
Maintaining organized electronic and physical client files.
-
Calendaring hearings, deadlines, meetings, and appointments.
-
Assisting attorneys with discovery, trial preparation, and other litigation support.
-
Performing electronic filing with courts.
-
Processing incoming and outgoing mail.
-
Scanning, copying, and distributing documents.
-
Entering billable time into the firm's timekeeping software on the same day work is performed.

Utilizing Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and the firm's case management software.

Performing general administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
We are seeking motivated, organized professionals who are eager to build a long-term career in the legal profession.
Successful candidates will possess:

Prior experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, legal secretary, or in a law firm is preferred, but not required. We are willing to hire individuals with a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, professionalism, and a strong desire to build a successful career in the legal profession.

Family law or litigation experience is preferred, but not required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

The ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new technology and software.

A positive attitude, professionalism, dependability, and outstanding customer service skills.

The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
Experienced family law paralegals and legal assistants may be considered for Senior Paralegal or Senior Legal Assistant positions with additional responsibilities and work-from-home eligibility.
