→Design, implement, and manage enterprise firewall solutions utilizing Cisco, Palo Alto, and Juniper network devices and associated management software
→Perform configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of firewall policies, rules, and access control lists across multi-vendor environments
→Monitor network traffic for potential security threats and proactively identify and remediate vulnerabilities
→Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network security standards align with mission and business objectives
→Translate customer requirements into scalable enterprise network security solutions
→Develop and maintain technical documentation, including designs, implementation plans, and operational runbooks
→Stay current with industry trends and best practices in network security, firewall technologies, and threat intelligence
→Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline preferred
Minimum 11 years of hands-on network engineering experience with a strong focus on firewall technologies
Demonstrated proficiency with Cisco and Palo Alto firewall platforms (Cisco FTD, Palo Alto Panorama)
In-depth knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP stack, and OSI model
Strong understanding of network security principles, segmentation, and zero-trust architectures
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-driven, fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with Juniper firewall platforms and SRX series devices
Cloud Service Provider and hybrid cloud experience (AWS, Azure, Oracle, Google Cloud)
Experience with a wide variety of network technologies and solution architectures
Broad knowledge of state-of-the-art systems engineering principles and network design concepts
Industry certifications: CCNA Security, CCNP Security, Palo Alto PCNSE, or equivalent
