We are currently seeking a Preschool Classroom Teacher to join our dedicated team at our Bridgewater location. In this role, you'll lead a classroom of preschoolers through daily routines, hands-on learning experiences, and age-appropriate curriculum designed to support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

EEC Teacher Preschool Certification, CDA, or equivalent degree and experience (preferred, not required)

Daycare experience in a center-based, private, or public school setting

An energetic approach to learning and an positive attitude

Curiosity, creativity, and a strong team-focused mindset

Ability to work a 4-5 hour shift within the operating hours of the school, with a requirement to close daily

Ability to spend extended periods of time on the floor with the children

Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Ability to stand up to 90% of the workday

Attentiveness, strong time management, and strong collaboration skills

Collaborating with your co-teacher to equally prepare curriculum, lesson plans, materials, and monthly newsletters.

Keeping parents informed by posting parent information on the Class Dojo app and classroom boards.

Providing a safe environment by maintaining orderly, clean, and appealing classrooms.

Encouraging children’s participation by providing age-appropriate interactive activities.

Maintaining cleanliness of the classroom: routine opening/closing of the classroom (including, but not limited to wiping down the toys, cleaning tables, vacuuming the room, sanitizing the room (after all children have left), bathrooms, emptying trash, and overall preparation of the classroom for the next morning.

Engaging with students in free play, supervising/zone during outdoor time, helping with bathroom needs and diapering, snack and meal assistance (preparing snacks, heating up lunches, cutting up food, helping open containers, supervision), naptime assistance, etc.

Adhering to the school's structured schedules.

Tracking children’s progress and completing assessments.

Maintaining your EEC required professional development hours and PQ registry.

Attending monthly staff meetings.

Creating a fun and safe learning environment for your students.

Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with students and parents.
