Role Overview

The Marketing Manager, Public Sector leads integrated demand generation programs that drive sales pipeline, accelerate sales cycles, and expand cross‑sell opportunities across federal, state, local, and international government markets. This role partners closely with Sales, Product Marketing, and the broader Demand Generation team to advance our presence in the public sector with a focus on driving account growth through our media and mobile suite of products.
  • Develop and execute targeted demand generation campaigns that generate net‑new pipeline and drive cross‑sell expansion opportunities within public sector accounts;
  • Work collaboratively with the broader demand generation and product marketing teams to bring multi-channel campaigns to life, including account-based marketing programs, email, digital experiences, events, content and webinar calendar;
  • Own day‑to‑day campaign orchestration across workstreams, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and dependencies are tracked and executed on schedule;
  • Manage the public sector association program including sponsorship planning and working cross-functionally on high-impact deliverables for key events, promotional calendar and content syndication;
  • Oversee new product introductions for public sector, ensuring successful launches through strategic planning, maintaining team alignment on go-to-market deliverables, and generating promotional plans;
  • Act as a liaison to the public sector BDR and sales team to ensure alignment and effective delivery of impactful marketing programs that support sales objectives and company priorities;
  • Identify content gaps and collaborate with stakeholders to build public‑sector‑specific messaging and assets;
  •  Track, report, and optimize campaign performance, pipeline influence, and ROI. Provide regular reporting and analytics on program effectiveness, offering actionable insights to improve performance and outcomes;
  •  Manage the Public Sector marketing budget, track spending, and oversee invoice processing;
  •  Stay current on public sector trends, procurement cycles, technology modernization initiatives, and agency missions;
  • Manage external marketing vendors as required. 
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing program management, channel marketing, B2B marketing; 
  • Experience with managing external vendors/agencies;
  • Experience in managing complicated and time sensitive projects; 
  • Interest and desire to learn and adapt to new technologies; 
  • Ability to creatively problem solve; 
  • Self-starter and driven to succeed; 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; 
  • Analytical with strong attention to detail;
  • Please note: Occasional travel (incl. out of country travel) may be required.

  • Familiarity with tools a plus: Salesforce, Pardot, ON24, Demandbase, Gainsight, Drift, and SalesLoft.
