Route Driver - Class A or B CDL

Our Newport, RI depot is look for our next route driving rockstar. Our commercial truck drivers have a schedule that consists of 4 10-hour shifts throughout the week. The start time can be anywhere between 3 am and 6 am. This is a local route, so you'll be able to be home every night. Our drivers have a starting hourly rate between $32-34 per hour. Drivers are paid weekly, direct deposit on Fridays. As a full time employee of Mahoney Environmental below are some of the benefits you should take advantage of:

• →Provide excellent customer service and relay any customer concerns to your manager in a timely fashion. 
• →Handle 2" to 3" hoses pumping out grease trap materials unto truck.
• →Clean area around tanks.
• →Operate box truck or pick up and drop off containers as needed.
• →Stay current on all Mahoney Safety trainings.
• →Maintain a good driving record within Mahoney acceptable standards. 
• →Perform other duties as assigned.

• A valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License. 
• Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience with your CDL. Due to insurance requirements drivers who have only 2 years of commercial driving experience must be at least 25 years old. 
• Air Brake and Tanker Endorsement (or willingness to get Tanker Endorsement prior to your start date).
• Good driving record. Safety risk rating within Mahoney acceptable standards.
• DOT certified medical card.
• The ability to lift, push or pull 100 lbs. on a repetitive basis

• Work outdoors in different weather conditions.
• Exposure to used cooking oil and grease trap material odors.
• Possible exposure to high traffic conditions and/or tight driving areas.
• Handling grease coated equipment.
