JWF Industries is currently hiring TIG and MIG Welders of all experience levels to join our growing manufacturing team in Johnstown, PA. Multiple shifts are available. Job Description:

Successful candidates will perform MIG and/or TIG welding in a manufacturing environment. Work requires the ability to fit and/or weld on jigs and fixtures for all production requirements. Knowledge of FCAW, GMAW, or aluminum welding processes is preferred.

Essential Duties:

• Lay out, fit, and weld steel and aluminum fabricated components to manufacture weldments and sub-assemblies utilizing established welding processes
• Weld on medium and/or large fabrications in jig fixtures including fitting, welding, and fabrication
• Perform welding in multiple positions including overhead, flat, vertical, and horizontal
• Properly set up and adjust welding equipment according to blueprints, drawings, and weld procedure specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and welding specifications
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet project deadlines

Qualifications:

• Formal education or training in welding preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year of TIG welding experience preferred; all levels of experience will be considered
• Ability to interpret blueprints and weld symbols and fit/weld according to print specifications
• Manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Successful candidates will be certified through JWF Industries
• JWF Industries is a federal contractor and safety-sensitive employer. Successful candidates must be able to pass a 10-panel drug screening

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay ranges from $23.00 - $30.00+ per hour based on experience

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this position, employees must maintain focus and mental alertness while standing for extended periods, using hands for gripping and grasping, and reaching with arms. Employees may frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, walk, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
