Marine Travelift is excited to be adding full-time Equipment Builders to our 1^st and 2^nd shift teams. As an Equipment Builder, you are responsible for building our custom machines including boat hoists, marine forklifts, and industrial lift. It's cool stuff! We are proud to offer in-house job training for all our team members. Previous mechanical skills and attention to detail are required for this career path.

1^st shift – Monday-Thursday, 6:00AM-3:00PM; Friday, 6:00AM-12:00PM

2^nd shift – Monday-Thursday; 2:30PM-1:00AM (3-day weekend)

• Produce boat hoist and lift components by assembling parts and subassemblies to produce one, large product.
• Install engines and compartments, pumps, tires, conduit and hydraulic lines.
• Assemble and install parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics onto large equipment utilizing power equipment and wrenching techniques
• Lift and stack completed subassemblies and parts
• Use overhead and jib cranes as needed to move steel beams and columns
• All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned

• Have experience reading blueprints
• Have previous mechanical experience and/or be mechanically inclined
• Have high attention to detail
• Be able to follow verbal and written work instructions in English
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
