The Digital Marketing Manager plays a critical leadership role, acting as a key second‑in‑command to the Director of Marketing Communications. This position supports the overall direction, coordination, and execution of marketing and communications initiatives while overseeing the hotel’s digital platform.
Responsibilities
~2 min read1. Department Leadership & Marketing Oversight
- →Act as a key support and deputy to the Director of Marketing & Communications, contributing to the overall management and effectiveness of the Marketing & Communications Department.
- →Provide guidance and oversight across multiple marketing disciplines, ensuring cohesive execution and alignment across campaigns, channels and initiatives.
- →Step in to support departmental leadership, coordination and decision‑making as required.
2. Digital Content Strategy & Brand Alignment
- →Develop and own the overall digital content strategy across paid and owned platforms, aligned with hotel objectives, campaign priorities and Marriott brand standards.
- →Ensure all digital content adheres strictly to Marriott brand guidelines, tone of voice, visual identity and legal requirements.
- →Work closely with the Social Media Content Creator to align messaging, visuals and storytelling across platforms and campaigns.
- →Review and approve digital content to ensure consistency, accuracy and brand compliance.
3. Paid Media Management (Meta & Google Ads)
- →Plan, execute, and optimize paid digital campaigns across Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram) and Google.
- →Manage media budgets, targeting strategies, creative performance and campaign timelines.
- →Analyze campaign performance, optimize continuously and provide actionable insights and reports.
- →Ensure paid media supports broader brand, communication and revenue objectives.
4. Hotel & Outlet Website Management
- →Oversee the hotel website and all F&B website, ensuring content is accurate, current and fully aligned with brand standards.
- →Coordinate timely updates for menus, promotions, events, imagery, and operational information.
5. Cross‑Team Collaboration
- →Work closely with the Social Media Content Creator to ensure unified messaging across website, social, and paid media.
- →Collaborate with hotel internal teams and external partners to ensure integrated execution.
- →Support integrated campaign planning from ideation through launch and optimization.
6. Performance Tracking & Reporting
- →Monitor digital and campaign performance across owned and paid channels.
- →Translate insights into optimizations and recommendations for continuous improvement.
