JOB SUMMARY
 
The Operations Manager serves as a key member of the resort leadership team, providing strategic and day-to-day oversight of resort operations with an absolute focus on rooms division and guest service excellence. Managing the operational flow across the property's 45 luxury villas, two distinctive restaurants, spa, and premium beach facilities, this role ensures that every guest touchpoint—from arrival to departure—reflects high-touch luxury standards. The Operations Manager bridges front office, housekeeping, and guest services to optimize villa readiness, maximize guest satisfaction, elevate elite recognition, and drive seamless cross-departmental coordination.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE
 
Education and Experience
 
Required:
 
  • 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, or Business Administration; 4 years of experience in resort operations or rooms division. OR
  • 4-year bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, or Business Administration; 2 years of experience in resort operations or rooms division.
Preferred:
  • 4-year college degree in Hospitality or Tourism Management.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising teams and leading resort operations.
  • Background in luxury resorts, high-end villa operations, or 5-star international hotel brands.
 
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
 
Managing Rooms & Guest Service Operations
  • Directs daily resort operations, focusing heavily on rooms division, front office, housekeeping, and guest satisfaction across the 45 luxury villas and resort facilities.
  • Develops and implements standard operating procedures for guest check-in, stay, and departure.
  • Leads proactive and reactive guest service recovery efforts to ensure prompt resolution of any issues.
  • Analyzes guest feedback, quality scores, and market trends to continuously improve service delivery.
  • Reviews occupancy forecasts, arrival lists, and VIP profiles to ensure seamless villa readiness and personalized recognition.
  • Collaborates closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and Spa teams to ensure cross-departmental alignment.
  • Serves as the primary operational contact and advocate for guests and property leadership.
  • Upholds brand standards, luxury service guidelines, and property quality controls.
  • Coordinates emergency response and crisis communication procedures alongside the General Manager.
  • Manages departmental expenses, operational budgets, and resource allocation to support profitability and service excellence.
Building Successful Relationships
  • Builds strong partnerships with local transport providers, tour operators, and luxury vendors to enhance guest experiences.
  • Fosters clear communication and collaboration across all internal departments and stakeholders.
  • Maintains high standards of hospitality to drive guest loyalty, positive reviews, and repeat visits.
  • Anticipates guest preferences and recommends tailored resort features, dining options, spa treatments, and beach activities.
Leadership
  • Leads and manages the rooms division, front office, and guest service teams across the property.
  • Sets clear operational goals and performance expectations aligned with resort objectives.
  • Coaches, trains, and mentors team members, utilizing available on-the-job training tools and brand resources.
  • Partners with Human Resources to recruit, develop, retain, and evaluate high-performing talent.
  • Ensures compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and labor laws.
  • Drives accountability, addresses performance issues, and promotes a positive, supportive work culture.

Basic Salary, Service Charge, Health Insurance, Workers Social Security Agency

Salary: 15.000.000 IDR - 20.000.000 IDR
