Job Summary:

The Physician’s Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will work under limited direction of the Medical Director. Typical work scenarios may require specialized knowledge, critical thinking, good judgment based upon the principles of biological, physiological, behavioral, and sociological sciences skills, as well as strong customer service skills. Internal contacts include medical staff and management throughout the clinic and health system. External contacts include patients, physicians, outside medical staff, and community resource services.

Master of Science in Nursing, required
→
Registered Nurse licensed to practice in Virginia or eligible required
→
Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies required
→
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Virginia License or eligible, required
→
AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire
→
Proficient leadership skills.

Preferred:

→Minimum of two years of experience as Physician Assistant in Urgent Care Clinic and/or Emergency Room.
