Job Title: Medical Retina Specialist Location: New Orleans, Louisiana Medical Retina - Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Retina Specialist to join our team in New Orleans. As a Medical Retina Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with conditions that affect the retina, such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and retinal detachment. Medical Retina - Benefits: Salary: 325K – 400K w/ production bonus (negotiable based on experience) Partnership track Healthcare, CME, 4 weeks paid vacation 401K w/ malpractice covered by the employer Signing bonus and moving expenses offered Medical Retina - Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive medical and ophthalmic evaluations of patients to determine their retinal health status Diagnose and treat patients with conditions that affect the retina, including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and retinal detachment Keep up-to-date with new developments and research in the field of medical retina and participate in continuing education and professional development activities Maintain accurate and complete patient records and communicate effectively with patients and their families about their diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care Medical Retina - Qualifications: Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution Board certification or eligibility in ophthalmology and subspecialty training in medical retina Valid or open to obtaining medical license to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana Excellent clinical skills, including the ability to perform in office retinal procedures including pneumatic retinopexy, intravitreal injections and laser photocoagulation.
