You'd join 6 providers, splitting time between a busy outpatient clinic and inpatient rounds at two of the city's leading hospital systems, or focusing on the setting you prefer. The standout here is the timeline to ownership: this begins in year two — not a five-year carrot. Year one is protected by a $370K–$450K guarantee plus an end-of-year bonus, so the runway is secure while you build your panel. Call is about as livable as neurology call gets: roughly one weekend per month, handled almost entirely by phone, with no ICU or emergency department coverage. In-person callbacks are rare.
