Assembly Technician

• →Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and process documentation.
• →Assemble components and finished goods to product specifications and established work instructions.
• →Assemble and install electronic components into sub-assemblies and finished goods.
• →Perform in-process and final tests/inspections to verify products meet specifications.
• →Document and maintain manufacturing procedures, records, and required production documentation for specified devices.
• →Calibrate, test, and maintain production and test equipment as applicable and assigned.
• →Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area and comply with company rules and policies.
• →Operate warehouse equipment such as fork trucks, pallet jacks, and work-assist vehicles, as needed and authorized.
• →Support the company’s ISO/IEC 80079-34 initiatives and related quality requirements.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in a technical assembly or manufacturing environment (electronics and/or electro-mechanical assembly preferred).
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precision assembly and alignment.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
• Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate positively with team members and other departments.
• Organized and self-motivated; able to work independently with minimal supervision and make decisions within established standards and practices.
• Ability to learn, apply, and master new assembly processes and skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, or crouch. The employee may need to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
