Position Overview 

The Project Engineer plays a vital role in supporting the successful execution of mission-critical construction projects. This position assists the project management team with coordination, documentation, and communication throughout all phases of the project lifecycle. The Project Engineer helps ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards and client expectations. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Assist in managing and organizing project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and drawing logs. 
  • Support project scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking efforts. 
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely project execution. 
  • Participate in site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance. 
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with project closeout procedures. 
  • Utilize project management software (e.g., Procore) and Microsoft Office tools to support project tracking and reporting. 
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project momentum. 
  • Travel to project sites as required 
     

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. 
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). 
  • Familiarity with project management software such as Procore is a plus. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. 
  • Willingness to travel as needed for project assignments. 
     

Work Environment & Physical Requirements 

  • Combination of office and field-based work environments. 
  • Ability to travel to job sites across North America. 
  • May require standing, walking, and lifting materials during site visits.
